There are many kinds of books in the world.The Old Man And Sea is my favorite book. The writer of the book is Ernest Hemingway. He won the Nobel Price for Literature in 1954 because of his book. The book tells us that we shouldnt give up at the difficult moment.
The story happened in the twentieth central. The main character in the story is an old fisherman called Santiago.During the eighty-four days,The old fisherman didnt catch a fish,But he did not give up and he kept fishing. Finally,on the two eighty-fifth days,He was surprised to catch a big fish. After two days and nights, he killed the big fish. On the way home,The big fish was eaten by sharks,though he fought with sharks for a long time. What a pity!Although he brought back a fish skeleton,But he won a respect of everybody.
This book is worth reading,because its very wonderful. We should learn that old fisherman fight against difficulties and never give up,even if you dont succeed, you try hard, you will no regret it.
